The turbines are designed to have a lifespan of 20 years. If it can be proven that the turbine has been operated below its design loads, it is possible to extend this period.

Yes, these can be made available according to the wishes of the customer.

Yes, this can be realized according to the wishes of the customer.

An external power socket is not in the scope of delivery, however it can be included according to the wishes of the customer.

Maintenance is carried out annually on the turbine according to a formal maintenance plan. This requires that the turbine be stopped for a period of approximately four hours. You may carry out the maintenance yourself, provided you have received the proper training to do so.

The foundation may be laid by the customer provided the specifications and requirements are adhered to. A preexisting foundation may also be used, under the same conditions as above.

Yes, you can see the power, the turbine status and the current wind conditions via the customer portal.

Yes, the turbine is designed and certified according to the IEC61400 standard. Operational ranges, up to and including extreme gusts with an occurrence frequency of once every 50 years, are clearly defined within this standard. The turbine is not only designed to withstand these loads but also loads above and beyond these as a large factor of safety is used in the design process.

A normal three phase domestic house connection which can deliver up to 63A is sufficient. The turbine is equipped according to German grid code VDE DIN 4105, so that it halts power feed-in during a grid fault. In this way the turbine poses no risk to other devices connected to the grid.

This depends on your site. For a site with strong, steady wind the pay-back period is about six years. The period will be longer for a less windy site.

If there are no large obstacles (e.g. buildings, trees etc.) in the direction of the prevailing wind to create turbulence, then your site may be suitable.

Yes, you can start and stop the turbine via the customer portal.

That is technically possible. The basis turbine is laid out in such a way to allow realization of these requirements through the addition of specialized electrical equipment. The equipment required will be specified on a case by case basis and fit to the requirements of each project individually.

Of course you can operate your turbine at night. The noise emissions are very low. The turbine has undergone a noise measurement study and qualifies to be operated in a residential area at a distance of 100m from dwellings.

An additional, certified package can be employed to monitor the atmospheric conditions and to cause the turbine to shut down during periods when increased bat activity is likely. The same module restarts the turbine once conditions have returned to normal.

Due to its low height and pleasant design, the turbine in our opinion does not affect the landscape significantly. On the contrary, the turbine can afford you as customer a positive public image.
